Learn how to use it quickly with our guide

1. Load the Software: For the Windows operating system, download the software from our website and save it to the Program Files on drive C of your computer.

Once you have completed the download find the program on the menu of “Program Files” and double click on it to open the program.

2. Prepare for Text: When you open MirrorScript Pro you will see a large text box which contains preinstalled default text in Latin. This is the location where you will enter the text for your speech. To prepare MirrorScript Pro for entering text click “New” in the upper left hand corner of the window. You can also opt to place your mouse cursor inside the text window, click and drag to highlight the default text, and then simply press the “Delete” key on your keyboard.

3. Enter the Text: If you already have prepared your speech in a document you can simply copy and paste the text into MirrorScript Pro. Highlight the text in your document by clicking and dragging your mouse over the entire text body. Right click on the text and then choose “Copy” from the menu. Place your cursor inside the text box in MirrorScript Pro and then press Ctrl + V on your keyboard to paste the text into the text box area in MirrorScript Pro. Click on “Save As” to save the speech to a desired location on your PC.

If you have not prepared your speech in advance you can also opt to type your speech into the text area by hand. For easier editing you can use the “Back Color” option on the upper right hand side of the window to change the color of the background in the text area. To change the font color simply use the menu under “Font Color” in the upper right hand side of the window.

4. Adjust Text for Viewing: You can adjust the text to be larger or smaller in width by placing your mouse cursor in the lower right hand corner of the MirrorScript Pro window and then dragging the window to the size that you desire. You can also adjust the font size by using the “Font Size” feature on the right hand side of the MirrorScript Pro window.

5. Scroll Speed: The scroll setting is located on the right hand side of the window and is set at 5 - Normal by default for the initial speed. You can leave this setting on default until you run the program and then once you see how it runs you can set the scroll speed as desired.

6. Line Spacing: You can use the “Line Spacing” feature on the right hand side of the MirrorScript Pro window to set the spacing closer together or farther apart. Depending upon the setting you choose you may also have to adjust the scrolling speed as well. As an added tip, keep the “Text Centered” box checked so your eyes are not constantly focused on the left hand side of the screen.

7. Flip Horizontal or Flip Vertical: If you are using a mirror with your PC to flip the text you can select the horizontal or vertical box to flip the text so the text scrolls in the direction you desire. This feature will also prevent you from having to turn your computer monitor around. Instead you can simply position it any way you choose.

8. Press Start: Once you have followed all of the steps above you can simply click “Start” and begin delivering your speech.
